Kava, a 3,000-year-old tradition

Kava Kava (Piper methysticum), also known as just kava, is known for its calming and restorative properties. It is a medically-proven stress-relieving root that has been used for over 3000 years by people of the Pacific to manage a wide range of physical problems. With the ability to produce a calming effect and treat a number of conditions, kava has, in recent years, been gaining popularity in the Western world.
Our kava originates from The Islands of Vanuatu in the South Pacific, where it’s highly prized and deeply rooted in culture and tradition. There, kava is consumed at all occasions and events, ranging from simple village gatherings and weddings to the most important tribal customs.
The most potent and highest quality kava comes from the islands of Vanuatu. In Vanuatu, more kava is cultivated and used than in any other place in the world. The native people of Vanuatu, known as Ni-Vanuatu, have been growing kava for thousands of years. Most botanists believe that kava originated from Vanuatu and was then spread throughout the rest of the Pacific by seafaring islanders. Over countless centuries, the Ni-Vanuatu, have only selected the best kava for cultivation. This old and highly prized Vanuatu kava is far superior to any other kava in the world, even to kava strains from Hawaii and Fiji. It is known as the highest quality and most potent kava in the world.

What’s the big deal about straing the kava water, or Kotom water, before drinking. It’s just a little grity? It won’t hurt one, will it ?
